Polygon PoS, one of the world’s largest blockchains, now becomes the first EVM-compatible network on which DOP will be deployed — enabling its users to have much greater control over their digital assets and information about them that’s in the public domain.
By leveraging Polygon PoS’ infrastructure, DOP gains exposure to a vast and active community, with the network processing over a million daily transactions. This high level of activity not only increases visibility but also provides opportunities for broader adoption.
Users will appreciate Polygon PoS’ significantly lower transaction fees compared with many other networks, making interactions with DOP more cost effective. Additionally, Polygon PoS’s faster blockchain technology ensures higher TPS and finality rates and better scalability, enhancing the overall user experience.
DOP now becomes part of Polygon’s extensive ecosystem — opening doors to potential integrations and synergies with other projects and applications within this thriving network, all while giving users the freedom to access selective transparency in a multi-chain environment.
As DOP prepares for deployment on the Polygon network, attention turns to making this vision for the future a reality. This will be broken down into three distinct phases.
First, DOP’s protocol — which was audited by Hacken in May 2024 and awarded a score of 9.7 out of 10 — will be deployed on Polygon PoS, with $DOP bridged across to Polygon for fee payments. A beta version has already been successfully put to the test on this network, proving there is compatibility.
Next, our attention will turn to establishing a bridge between Ethereum and Polygon PoS within DOP’s user interface.
DOP will be promoting Polygon PoS usage on its mainnet, with this blockchain prioritized in future airdrops. The integration of DOP into the Polygon ecosystem underscores the growing recognition of the importance of data ownership and the need to bring selective transparency to a wider audience.
To encourage adoption and further build momentum, DOP will dedicate $50,000 for grants to support dev teams, creators and entrepreneurs who want to build DeFi solutions for our protocol on Polygon PoS — delivering an even better experience for end users.
The blockchain landscape is rapidly evolving, and DOP’s deployment on the Polygon network presents a great opportunity to innovate, grow and thrive.
Data Ownership Protocol has come a long way over the past year. In addition to launching our mainnet and introducing a staking program, we have forged a native integration with Bitcoin.com and official collaborations with zkMe and Chainalysis.
With DOP operating within the Polygon ecosystem, new opportunities for growth and development emerge, enabling the project to explore fresh possibilities and expand its reach.
